For the sample, dial 32 loops. Pattern 3 st. 4 r.

Row 1: Yarn over, knit 3 stitches, and pass the two subsequent stitches through the first stitch, yarn over, and repeat until the end of the row. The last three stitches are knit, with two of them passed through the first stitch, selvage.

Row 2: purl all stitches

Row 3: Knit, yarn over, knit 3 stitches, pass two of them through the first stitch, yarn over, repeat until the end of the row, the last stitch is knit, selvage.
